Study on evaluation frameworks published by Quality Audit Network

The Quality Audit Network (QAN) has recently published the comparative study Institutional evaluation frameworks: design and review processes among the agencies of the Quality Audit Network. The publication looks at how agencies design their institutional frameworks, how the standards and criteria are formulated and how such formulations impact higher education institutions (HEIs). It also looks at how quality assurance (QA) agencies update and revise their frameworks and how they involve stakeholders in this endeavour.

QAN is an informal network of nearly 20 agencies that meet each year to discuss practical issues related to institutional audits. This QAN report was coordinated by a task force of four agencies (Hcéres, France; AQ-Austria; AI, Denmark; and FINEEC, Finland). More information is available here.
