The next Erasmus+ programme approved for 2021-2027

The European Parliament has approved the next Erasmus+ programme for years 2021-2027, an EU programme providing opportunities for education, training, young people and sport in Europe.

In the newly approved Erasmus+, more co-funding and cooperation with other European programmes is being provided. Another new feature is the introduction of centres of vocational excellence, international centres providing vocational training for continuous development of skills. There are also more opportunities for disadvantaged people. Special support includes language training, administrative support and e-learning opportunities.

The programme countries currently cover all 28 EU countries as well as Turkey, North Macedonia, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, and it is open to partner countries across the world.
