ENQA online General Assembly 2020
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the ENQA Board took the difficult decision to cancel the ENQA General Assembly and 20th anniversary celebrations in their physical format. The events were planned to take place in October 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. ENQA would nevertheless like to thank the Belgian hosts, AEQES, VLUHR-QA and MusiQuE, for the work they had already put in to planning the event, and we are pleased to announce that they have agreed to instead host the next Members’ Forum and General Assembly meeting, taking place in April 2021. The celebrations to mark ENQA’s 20th anniversary will also be postponed until then.
In place of the physical events, a short online General Assembly will be organised on Thursday 22 October, 14.00-16.30 CEST. This meeting will allow us to discuss the matters that are important for the ongoing work of the Association, such as the work plan and the budget for 2021. The draft agenda for the meeting can be found here.
In addition, ENQA will hold a series of webinars covering topics that would otherwise have been addressed in the physical event. These will take place in the week of 19-23 October and further details will be announced in due course.
Registration for the ENQA General Assembly is now open. Registration for the various associated webinars will open soon. Places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. For logistical reasons, participation is limited to two representatives per Member agency (excluding ENQA Board members) and to one representative per Affiliate.
ENQA Members should designate one representative who will vote during the General Assembly and should indicate this in the registration form. Voting will take place through a separate online platform and details will be provided to the designated representative before the meeting. ENQA members that are unable to attend the meeting but would like to designate a proxy for voting rights are invited to contact the ENQA Secretariat as soon as possible.
To attend the meeting, please register here by 15 October 2020. After registration, the ENQA Secretariat will send a confirmation email providing a link to the online meeting room and a unique token to be used to access the meeting.
