EQAF early bird registration deadline: 7 October

Early bid registration is open until 7 October 2019 for the 2019 European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), which will take place on 21-23 November 2019 in Berlin, hosted by the Technische Universität Berlin. After this date, late registration fees will apply; however, capacity is limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year’s Forum will explore how quality assurance can support institutions in engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in order to meet the changing and complex societal demands on higher education. The event will kick-off with the pre-forum session “Introduction to the European quality assurance framework” by Maria Kelo from ENQA and Tia Loukkola from EUA. Plenary sessions will examine how institutions can define, demonstrate and improve their contribution to society, the value of stakeholder input, and whether a broader scope for quality assurance would benefit institutions and society. Parallel plenary sessions will cover the role of quality assurance in fostering student-centred learning, inclusiveness and sustainable development, as well as the latest trends and research from Europe and beyond. In addition, participants can attend workshops and/or paper sessions on a variety of topics. One of the paper sessions will present and discuss the analysis on the applicability of the ESG 2015 for work-based learning, produced by ENQA in the framework of the “Integrating Entrepreneurship and Work Experience in Higher Education” (WEXHE) project.
