The Agency for the Quality Certification and EUR- ACE Accreditation of Engineering Study Programmes (QUACING) is an ENQA Affiliate. The QUACING Agency has been settled in 2010 and since September 2012 has been authorized to issue EUR-ACE ® accreditation (“EUR-ACE ® label”) by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE). The founding members of QUACING are the Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri – CNI (National Council of Engineers) and the Conferenza per l’Ingegneria – CopI (Conference for Engineering).

QUACING adopts the Guidelines for Quality Assurance of University Degree Programs in Engineering in line with the AVA and EUR-ACE approaches (QUACING model) that define the requirements for the quality of university degree programs in Engineering.

In June 2016 QUACING obtained ‘formal recognition’ from the (ENQA Member) Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR) that the QUACING Model and the procedures and Evaluation Reports drawn up following external evaluation visits aimed at EUR-ACE accreditation, comply with European and national standards.
