2020 Erasmus+ call and programme guide available

The European Commission has published its 2020 call for proposals for the Erasmus+ programme. This is the last year of the current European Union programme for mobility and cooperation in education, training, youth and sport (2014-2020). The 2020 budget will reach over €3 billion (12% more than in 2019) to provide greater opportunities, allowing for example African universities, students and staff to participate in the programme or the launch of a second pilot on the European Universities. This call for proposals is open to public and private bodies active in the fields of education, training, youth and sport as well as groups of young people who are active in youth work, but not formally established as youth organisations.

Together with the call, the Commission also published the Erasmus+ Programme Guide which provides applicants with further details on all opportunities in higher education, vocational education and training, school education and adult education, youth and sport.

Erasmus+ intends to ease access to the programme to participants from all backgrounds, with a special focus on people with social, economic, physical or geographic disadvantages.
