The State Agency for Science and Higher Education (EATDA) is an ENQA affiliate.

The State Agency for Science and Higher Education, established next to the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan in 2022, plays a pivotal role in shaping the country’s science and higher education landscape. Tasked with fostering the integration of research, higher education, and labor market demands, the agency ensures that educational outcomes meet both national priorities and international benchmarks. By overseeing and coordinating the efforts of higher educational institutions and scientific organizations, it strengthens the development of both sectors and upholds high standards of quality in education and scientific research. Through its value-added quality assurance efforts, the agency contributes to promoting innovation, global competitiveness and sustainable development in Azerbaijan’s higher education system.
