Its roles are external quality assurance and quality improvement of higher education and research through evaluation procedures, professional recognition of foreign higher education qualifications and dissemination of information and best practices. The Agency’s scope of work also includes activities related to applying and meeting the conditions for enrolment to HE institutions. Furthermore, the Agency provides professional and administrative support to strategic and expert bodies in the system of science and higher education.
